Laanner. •. 5 is just a combination of 3 and 4 with a borrowed and remade warhammer lore. 4 is the pinnacle of the might and magic series. It is a pity that numerous flaws and bugs turned people away from such a wonderful game. Advanced hero skills, new combined classes with unique bonuses, "Balanced" magic system in a way, that there is no HoMM 3 is easily the best in the series. The major things i liked about heroes 3 over the newer 4 and 5 are: 1) More town types in 3 2) Faster gameplay ( i can do a turn in HoMM3 in 10 seconds, in 4 and 5 they slowed it down by adding improved graphics that honestly i didnt desire) 3) Wake of Gods fan made expansion pack adds a ton to the gameplay. Basic Intelligence increases maximum spell points by 25%. Advanced Intelligence increases maximum spell points by 50%. Expert Intelligence doubles maximum spell The controll system of the towns and mines is more interesting and less annoying than in Heroes 5. Convert cities is also more confartable than the 5th game. The description says that the AI plays at it's peak on hard difficulty.On the other two higher difficulties (Expert and Impossible)it plays the same but you get handicapped a lot more on resources.Difference is that you can get a higher score when you finish a game on the higher difficulties. #1. It's HoMM 3 Complete but on Uplay. Not the HD version. GOG complete edition. If you want the good version, take it from GOG. If you want the cheap version, pirate it. But whatever you do, please, in gods name, do NOT buy it from Ubisoft. I think heroes 4 is a great game, I did never like heroes 3, heroes 5 was ok and had good graphics and storyline. but I found it to hard (I never finished the campagins on the original or any of the expansions) and heroes 3 is way to hard for me, but heroes 4 is a really good game and I like the combat system alot. although it For other uses, see Scouting.
